The Palm at the Tennis Courts Footbridge

A Sabal mexicana with a short trunk is growing just upstream from the footbridge at the northeast corner of the tennis courts on Trinity Street, not far from a picnic table along the creek walkway.
The most likely source of this palm is the tall palm just west of the Arno Nowotny building, c. 4/10 mile uphill at the intersection of I 35 and MLK.
