On May 29th, 2007, the world of academic botany lost one of of its great evolutionary researchers and synthesizers, Verne Grant. An obituary that was published elsewhere is reproduced here (with (permission), but the main purpose of this web site is to make available to the many who knew and respected him some wonderful pictures of him from all stages of his life.
