Detail of 180° Leaf Reorientation in S. palmetto ‘Saxophone’
Close inspection of the pale leaf formation at the very bottom of the saxophone seems to reveal the rotation in the leaf veins as growth turns upward. Green lines in the image on the right have been traced over the veins.
