SURGe’s final Lab tour will occur in the PAT Laboratory on Thursday, April 24th at 3:30 PM. The lab is known for their research in zoology and biochemistry, as well as their gorgeous rooftop butterfly garden greenhouses. We will meet outside of PAT on Speedway (near RLM).
If you enjoy chemistry and/or microbiology, then come listen to a talk by Dr. Shear about 3D micro structures (tiny houses/playgrounds for bacteria)! The talk is on Friday, April 25th from 4-5 PM in PAI 3.02.
The last social of the semester is tomorrow and we want you there. Join your fellow members for an afternoon of food and fun, not to mention spring-themed activities such as confetti egg cracking and egg dyeing!
Help SURGE with the Undergraduate Research Forum on Friday, April 24th from 11 AM to 3 PM. This is a great opportunity to learn about many different kinds of research going on around campus! The event is in the Welch hallway.
HEADS UP, we will NOT have our typical SURGe meeting this Friday because of the Undergraduate Research Forum, but we still want to see your smiling faces there!
Volunteer with SURGe on the Main Mall for 40 Acres Fest, a campus-wide festival featuring booths and entertainment for visitors. The event is on Saturday, April 5th from 1 to 6 PM. (Time and date are tentative)
