Getting there
Air: The conference center is 8 miles away form the Monterey
Peninsula Airport (MRY). Local taxis serve the airport as does the
Monterey-Salinas Transit bus system.
Larger airports in the region include Mineta San Joe International
(SJC), which is 80 miles north, and San Francisco International
Airport (SFO), which is 110 miles north. The Monterey Airbus
serves both SJC and SFO and delivers people directly to
Asilomar. To arrange airport shuttle service to and from San
Jose and San Francisco airports, call Monterey Salinas Airbus at

is recommended for those traveling from these larger regional
