The Asilomar Conference Center in Pacific Grove, CA provides a lovely setting nestled along the scenic Asilomar State Beach. The Asilomar Conference Center features views of forest, surf, and sand, and has walking paths down to coastal, rocky intertidal, and dune habitats.
The conference center is renowned for its rustic, yet elegant architecture. There are multiple rooms for presentations, and cabins and hotel rooms for lodging. All conference presentation rooms and lodging rooms are in close proximity.
The blue arrow marks the front desk for the conference center and a beautiful social hall – a large area where people can sit and talk. There is a coffee shop there. The orange rectangle marks the dining hall. The four orange arrows mark the four locations for talks: Chapel seats 200 (theatre style seating), Sanderling, Marlin, and Curlew seat 34 each. Registration for the meeting will be in Chapel, as will coffee breaks. Posters will be in the side-wings of the Chapel room. The ocean is visible from most of these sites. Dorm rooms are located right next to Sandering/Marlin/Curlew. Everything is a 1 or 2 minute walk apart, so attendees are encouraged to lodge on site
