Lodging
Please download the HOUSING FORM, fill it out, and send it with payment to the Asilomar conference center by mail or by fax. Asilomar can assist with finding roommates to split the cost of multi-person rooms. Please note that attendees are strongly encouraged to stay at the Asilomar conference center. Those who opt to stay elsewhere will have to pay a State Park usage fee as well as pay for meals at the conference center. Note that:
We encourage you to make reservations starting the night of January 12th (arrival) through the night of the 15th (checking out the morning of the 16th). Room options are described at the Asilomar website. Rooms are relatively small, but affordable. Note that room costs include the cost of all meals. Individuals who prefer to stay elsewhere in the area, or who prefer to camp (list of campsites) should contact the Asilomar conference center to buy tickets for meals. People staying off-site will also have to pay the conference center a $10 Facility Fee per day, as the conference center is in a California State Park. This fee is included in the price of lodging NOTE: The following prices include all meals and State park fees.
Food
Food at the Asilomar dining hall is included in lodging costs for people staying at Asilomar (breakfast, lunch, and dinner). People lodging off-site will have to pay for meals, if they wish to dine with the rest of the conference attendees. The meal rates for visitors are listed below, and can be purchased from Asilomar. NOTE: the following meal rates ONLY APPLY to people lodging AWAY FROM ASILOMAR, as meal costs are included for attendees staying at the conference center:
