Lodging
Attendees are strongly encouraged to stay at the Asilomar Conference Center, as lodging is immediately adjacent to the conference venue (and in a spectacular natural setting).

Please download the HOUSING FORM, fill it out, and send it with payment to the Asilomar conference center by mail or by fax. Asilomar can assist with finding roommates to split the cost of multi-person rooms. Please note that attendees are strongly encouraged to stay at the Asilomar conference center. Those who opt to stay elsewhere will have to pay a State Park usage fee as well as pay for meals at the conference center.

Note that:

  1. the housing costs quoted on the HOUSING FORM are for all four nights, and will be lower if you stay a shorter length of time.
  2. Lodging costs include taxes, fees, a State park use fee, and all meals (dinner the day you arrive, through lunch the day you leave).
  3. The HOUSING FORM includes the option to request a specific roommate (who must register for lodging within 5 days of you), or to request that Asilomar find a roommate match for you.

We encourage you to make reservations starting the night of January 12th (arrival) through the night of the 15th (checking out the morning of the 16th). Room options are described at the Asilomar website. Rooms are relatively small, but affordable. Note that room costs include the cost of all meals.

Individuals who prefer to stay elsewhere in the area, or who prefer to camp (list of campsites) should contact the Asilomar conference center to buy tickets for meals. People staying off-site will also have to pay the conference center a $10 Facility Fee per day, as the conference center is in a California State Park. This fee is included in the price of lodging

NOTE: The following prices include all meals and State park fees.
The processing fee is charged by Asilomar to handle registrations and, in particular, to help arrange room sharing for people wishing to economize by sharing a room.
